This is not a repost of my original tetris piece. I've redone it entirely so I could enter it in this week's contest.
I just want to say this was based on my gameboy version of tetris, so if you're used to another version of this game, this may seem off to you. It also should be noted that whoever is playing this game really needs to learn to play better. Since it was the original gameboy version, this is why the animation looks "blocky" and not smoothe. I wanted it to look like the actual game.
Fun facts:
1.) The color scheme is taken directly from the 'Tetris Worlds' (With the exception of the emoticon at the end)
2.) 145 different emoticons appear in this animation. Two of which end up hidden behind the O-Block when it becomes a game over.
Tetris (c) - Alexey Pajitnov, and anyone else who might hold the game's copyright as of now. I'm not sure excatly who has it as of this moment. I DID NOT CREATE TETRIS!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
